The story focuses on a very common nowadays problem in Sikh boys and girls. it tries to make them realize the true value of their heritage and feeling proud for it.

The movie started showing a youth, Jasmeet Singh return home, where his parents planning to attend a function and he was looking much depressed. The story move to former where Jasmeet proposed a girl, Simran and she rejected him giving the reason that he is a keshadhari, having clown's looks and showed her inclination towards looks of movie actors and non inclination toward Sikhs(with hairs) as they are potrayed as clowns in movies. Jasmeet's heart broke listening her reason. His friends instigated him to change his life style to become a inhead and cut surd chap, as the Sikh lifestyle is not liked by today girls. This pinched Jasmeet and he return home down in the mouth. The movie continuos with Jasmeet cutting his hair and coming before his parents. His parents argues where he replied nothing are kept in hair and do not adopt such lifestyle which makes one depress whether it is given by guru. His father said him not to come to home again. He again started enjoying with friends drinking, playing, driving and enjoying his new lifestyle. His friends suggested him to propose the girl again as the reason she gave is lacking. He planned to propose Simran again.
