Tanuja Kelkar (Varsha Ujgaonkar) is a young and confident woman, who believes in hard work to make a name for herself. Tanuja's parents are very wealthy and prosperous who could never see beyond money and could go to any lengths for it. Her father gets into many corrupt deals in greed of money and her mothers backs him on the shady deals. Tanuja is in love with a colleague, Kedar Patil and wishes to marry him. Things take a unfortunate turn when Tanuja's boss rapes her. But Tanuja is in for a bigger shock when she learns that her boss has bribed her father to buy his silence.
