Description:

Simple stories of simple people have been doing well at the box office and debutant director Sourabh Shrivastava too tries to strike the right chord with "Oh My God", a tale of a middle class man with big dreams.

He centres his story on a guy who wants to earn Rs.100 million. Although he wants to be rich, he is an idealist. To fulfill his dreams, Rajindra Dubey (Vinay Pathak) comes up with a unique scheme and tries to sell it to people around him including his boss. He reminds you of the Amway agents in India, who too worked in similar fashion.

The film has good performances, but the narrative is so dry and slow that it fails to hold audience attention for too long.

Vinay, Harsh and Divya are good performers, but they are wasted in the movie, which has a bland story and flat dialogues.

Some of the scenes are not fleshed out properly - the protagonist's over friendliness with his boss - in one scene the boss is behind bars in a dowry case and in the next scene he is moving in his swanky car on the roads of the city.

Also, when the boss (Harsh Chhaya) asks Suman (Divya Dutt), Rajindra's wife, whether is she happy with her husband - it looks abrupt. There are many such scenes in the film.

Other situations are too clichéd to be entertaining.

Saurabh Shukla fails to elicit laughter as a God who tries to help Rajindra.

The film tries to give a message, but the story is so uninspiring that it leaves you bored.
