Tej Kaur lives with her outgoing and care-free son Baljeet. Tej feels her son can become a responsible lad if he gets married. So for the sake of his mother's happiness Baljeet decides to go on a bride hunting spree. But finding a girlfriend seems to be an impossible task. So Baljeet turns to the high priest who suggests he lights a lamp in a graveyard and by doing so, his wishes will be granted. To his surprise he meets Lovely and falls in love at first sight. But Baljeet is unaware she is a ghost. What's more, Baljeet can only marry her in heaven if he kills himself leading to some dramatic twists and turns in this Punjabi laugh riot.
